The "mills" of the Chroma series are all equipped with the finest and most modern mill, a ProCut Titanium Cutting Gear. This is a new development based on traditional design principles and best classic metal grinders. This work combines the advantages of metal and ceramic grinding gears and reaches an extremely fine grind that leaves nothing to be desired. ProCut stands for Professional Cutting Technology, the patented process of CHROMA.
The cutting geometry of the two mill components has been optimized based on many years of experience, especially with regard to fine powder formation during milling, without the full range of fine to coarse negligible. Only a metal grinder can achieve this sharpness and fineness. The material is titanium offers, despite the extremely high material price due to its good hardness and above all to its excellent tasteless, hypoallergenic and biocompatible properties.
